The exterior is mid-century in the plain sense — a low gable with deep overhangs, exposed beams carried past the wall, vertical cedar siding, and stone at the base. Tall glazing under the eave lines runs along the main rooms, so light comes in low and long while the overhang keeps the summer sun off. Natural materials throughout, left to weather.
