Sand Mountain Farmhouse

A two-story board-and-batten farmhouse under a standing-seam metal roof, with shingled gables, dormers, and a porch that wraps the front and side.

The main floor is one long room in three parts — living, dining, and kitchen — carried on heavy timber posts and beams under a plank ceiling. Nothing closes off; the timber frame does the dividing.

The kitchen runs a long timber island under soapstone, with cream cabinetry, a timber range hood, and galvanized pendants. Upstairs, the primary bedroom sits under a beamed vault with a dormer window to the pasture. Drawings are available for build as designed, with adjustments to site and orientation on request.
